Stocks in the news-

Indian indices-

Indian stock markets closed lower on June 30, 2025, led by selling pressure among index heavyweights. On the sectoral front, PSU Bank index was up 2.72%, while realty, FMCG, auto, metal was trading in the red. At close, the Sensex was down 452.44 points or 0.54% at 83,606.46. The Nifty was down 120.75 points or 0.47% at 25,517.05.

Rupee ended at 85.76/$ against June 27 close of 85.48/$.

1. Hind Rectifiers rose 2.16% to Rs. 1,289.95, on order win from the Indian Railways.

2. JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals tanked 6.64% to Rs. 1,679.80, as Torrent Pharma acquires controlling stake worth Rs. 25,689 crores

3. Hero MotoCorp fell 1.94% to Rs. 4,237, after Govt issues draft notification on Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

4. Karnataka Bank down 5.75% to Rs. 195.75, after board approves MD & CEO Resignation.
