Indian indices-

The benchmark indices ended on a strong note on June 24, led by broad-based buying across sectors. Renewed buying in banking, IT, and financial services stocks rebounded sharply after recent weakness. Most of the sectoral indices ended in the green. At close, the Sensex was up 790.54 points or 1.04% at 76,991.22, and the Nifty was up 197.55 points or 0.83% at 24,021.65.

Rupee closed at 94.67/$ Vs. June 23, 2026, close of 94.74/$.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd (IRFC) fell 6.24%, after govt launches OFS for 2% equity with floor price of Rs. 91/sh.

2. Bajaj Auto Ltd slipped 2.65% to Rs. 9,750, after the company said a ransomware attack impacted the automaker and its unit Bajaj Auto Technology's systems

3. Tanfac Industries jumped 3.04% to Rs. 2,439.95, after the company’s board approved the launch of qualified institutional placement (QIP) for the equity shares with a floor price of Rs. 2,090.43 per share.

Global Signals-

Asian markets ended on a mixed note amid cautious sentiment and global uncertainty.

European markets traded higher, supported by positive global cues and gains in banking and tech stocks.
