Indian indices-

The benchmark indices ended lower on May 11, 2026, as surging crude oil prices and geopolitical concerns weighed on investor sentiment. The markets sentiment further dampened by continued Foreign Institutional Investor (FII) selling. The broad-based selling across the board also led the markets to end lower. At close, the Sensex was down 1,312.91 points or 1.70% at 76,015.28, while the Nifty fell 360.30 points or 1.49% to 23,815.85.

Rupee ended at 95.31/$ against May 08 close of 94.48/$.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Urban Company fell 9.57% to Rs. 126.20, after Q4 loss widens to Rs. 161 cr.

2. Bharti Airtel dropped 4.18% to Rs. 1,758.15, after company announced to mull reorganisation of shareholding framework of arms including Airtel Africa Plc.

3. Medi Assist Healthcare Services rose 1.94% to Rs. 384.50, after the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs. 53.44 crore in Q4 FY26, which is higher by 148.7% as compared with the PAT of Rs. 21.49 crore in Q4 FY25.

4. Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) added 2.94% to Rs. 3,188.10, after it has reported 291% YoY surge in consolidated net profit to Rs. 530 crores in Q4 FY26, compared with Rs. 135 crores in Q4 FY25.
