Post Market Update- Sensex gains 700 points, Nifty close at 25,245

Stocks in the news-

1. L&T Tech gets $50 million plus order from a global energy major in sustainability segment.

2. KEC International gets new orders worth Rs. 1,236 cr for civil projects in India.

3. Surya Roshni bagged order worth Rs. 75.40 cr from Gujarat Gas.

4. ACME Solar signed power purchase agreement with SECI for 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan.

5. KNR Construction secured order worth Rs. 4,801 cr from Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam.

Indian indices-

Indian benchmark indices closed higher on June 25, 2025, on firm global markets amid signs of easing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. All the sectoral indices ended in the green with auto, consumer durables, IT, telecom, healthcare, media up 1-2%. BSE Midcap index rose 0.63% and smallcap index added 1.59%. At close, the Sensex was up 700.40 points or 0.85% at 82,755.51, and the Nifty was up 200.40 points or 0.80% at 25,244.75.

Rupee ended at 86.08/$ against June 24 close of 85.98/$.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Surya Roshni rose 3.19% to Rs. 344.60, after the company announced a fresh order win worth Rs. 75.40 crore from Gujarat Gas.

2. RITES gained 1.14% to Rs. 279, after the company announced that it has received a letter of intent (LoI) from Gujarat Urban Development Company (GUDC) for a project valued at Rs 28.5 crore.

3. Exicom Tele-Systems surged 11.71% to Rs. 203.25, after board approved Rs. 260 crores rights issue.

4. Reliance Infrastructure shares hit 5% upper circuit at Rs. 404.05, on Rs. 600 crore export order from Germany.

Global Signals-

Asia-Pacific markets trade mixed as investors weigh Fed comments, Israel-Iran ceasefire.

European markets were lower. FTSE 100 up 0.02%, Dax down 0.34% and CAC 40 down 0.18%.
