Post Market Update- Sensex jumps 1,046 points, Nifty ends above 25,100

Stocks in the news-

1. Axiscades Tech signed strategic partnership with Europe's Aldoria to strengthen India's Space Capabilities.

2. Suzlon bagged order from AMPIN for a 170.1 MW project to be developed in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.

3. Dilip Buildcon gets LoA for a project worth Rs. 1,341 cr from Konkan Railway Corporation.

Indian indices-

After three consecutive sessions of losses, the equity benchmark indices ended sharply by over 1% on June 20, 2025. All the sectoral indices ended in the green. BSE Midcap index rose 1.20% and smallcap index gained 0.55%. At close, the Sensex was up 1,046.30 points or 1.29% at 82,408.17. The Nifty was up 319.15 points or 1.29% at 25,112.40.

Indian rupee ended 14 paise higher at 86.59 per dollar on June 20 Vs June 19, close of 86.73.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Hindalco Industries rose 1.18% to Rs. 649.05, after the company announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, AV Minerals (Netherlands) NV, had acquired a 100% stake in Aditya Holdings LLC, making it a step-down wholly owned subsidiary.

2. Uno Minda gained 2.74% to Rs. 1,065.35, after the company’s board has approved the setting up of a greenfield manufacturing facility for aluminium die casting in Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra for Rs. 210 crore.

3. Brigade Enterprises advanced 1.19% to Rs. 1,147.20, after the company announced that its flexible and managed office space brand, BuzzWorks, has expanded its presence in Hyderabad through a new lease agreement signed by Infor India.

4. Kaynes Technology India surged 4.63% to Rs. 5,866.20, after the company said that its board approved the issue of qualified institutional placement (QIP) of equity shares with the floor price of Rs. 5,625.75 per equity share.

5. Waaree Energies jumped 11.64% to Rs. 2,983.35, on plans to double US capacity, FTSE inflows.
