The acquisition will be funded through internal accruals and is structured in two phases. The first phase shall constitute the acquisition of the iconic Aquel brand along with the acquisition of moulds and dies, on an immediate basis. The second phase will be in relation to the acquisition of the assets comprising of land parcel, buildings, machinery and manufacturing equipment, office furniture and fixtures situated at Klaus Waren’s plant in Bhuj, Gujarat. Strong rise in realisations led to OPM rise of 590bps y-o-y to 19.3% leading to operating profit growth of 2.5x y-o-y (up 43% q-o-q) to Rs. 147 crore. Strong operational performance led to net profit growth of 3.4x y-o-y (up 46% q-o-q) to Rs. 97 crore.

Its OPM expanded by 528bps y-o-y (up 125bps q-o-q) to 18.8% leading to 93% jump in operating profit to Rs. 103 crore. Strong operational performance along with lower interest expense led to net profit growth of 175% y-o-y (up 43% q-o-q) to Rs. 67 crore.

PPF had remitted an advance amount of Rs. 40 crore to Prince Marketing for the purchase of immovable property. The conveyance of the immovable property between the Company (PPF) and Prince Marketing, had not been completed. Accordingly, PPF and Prince Marketing entered into an agreement to record the terms of repayment of the advance amount. In the month of January, 2021 the first major tranche of the advance payment of Rs. 26.10 crore has been received by PPF.
