Company Info
The Company was incorporated on 30th September, 1992 at Bombay with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra and was promoted by Tainwala Chemicals and Plastics (India) Limited (TCPL). The Company obtained Certificate for Commencement of Business on 16th October, 1992. Tainwala Polycontainers Ltd. is a new company incorporated for the manufacture of 2.5 lacs extrusion blow moulded high molecular, high density Polyethylene containers (HMHDPE) (220 litres capacity) per annum. HMHDPE containers are used for packaging of chemicals, dye stuffs, bulk pharmaceuticals, explosives and petrochemicals. They have several advantages over conventional mild steel drums because of their betteer resistance to chemicals, lesser weight and are more cost effective. These containers also have good potential for packaging of export products. Presently, there are only two units manufacturing HMHDPE containers, Ador and H M Prestige Polycontainers. 2002-Tainwala Polycontainers Ltd has informed BSE that the Board in its meeting held on July 29, 2002 has accepted the resignation of Shri F.S.Broacha as Director and Chairman of the Company with effect from July 29, 2002 and Dr. Ramesh Tainwala, Non executive Director has been appointed as the Chairman of the Company w e f July 29, 2002. -Tainwala Polycontainers Ltd has informed BSE that Dr Gobind Vasanmal has resigned as a Director of the Company w e f October 10, 2002.
