Market Report- Indian indices rise tracking global strength

The benchmark indices opened higher on a positive note on May 14, 2026, with both Sensex and Nifty rising in early trade, tracking strong global cues. IT stocks remained under pressure. At 9.24 am, Sensex rose by 0.53% or 381 points to 75,023. The Nifty gained 0.66% or 156 points to 23,570.
