Market Report- Sensex, Nifty open higher on global cues

Indian stock markets opened higher May 06, 2026, followed by positive global cues and easing crude oil prices amid hopes of a US-Iran peace deal. Most of the sectoral indices were trading in green. At 9.27 am, Sensex rose by 0.57% or 445 points to 77,454. The Nifty gained 0.61% or 149 points to 24,180.

Rupee Check-

Rupee opened at 95.04/$ Vs. May 05 close of 95.28/$, strengthens by 25 paise against US dollar.
