Market Report- Sensex down 960 points, Nifty at 24,600

The benchmark indices opened gap down on June 13, 2025, as escalating tensions in the Middle East rattle global sentiment. All the sectors were trading in red. The BSE Midcap slipped by 1.22% and BSE Smallcap dipped by 1.49%. At 9.21 am, Sensex plunged by 1.16% or 962 points to 80,715. The Nifty declined by 1.20% or 291 points to 24,600.

Rupee Check-

Rupee opened at 86.14/$ Vs. June 12 close of 85.60/$. Rupee weakens 54 paise against US dollar.

Global Update-

Asia-Pacific markets fell as Israel conducts military strikes on Iran; oil prices jump.

European markets ended lower on tariff tension & weak UK economic data.

US markets rebounded with minor gains.

Oil prices jumped more than 8% after Israel Airstrike on Iran.
