Market Report- Sensex up 230 points, Nifty at 24,800

The benchmark indices were trading higher on June 16, as buying was seen among majority index heavyweight. Among sectoral indices all the sectors were trading in green except auto. At 9.24 am, Sensex rose by 0.30% or 235 points to 81,346. The Nifty gained 0.30% or 78 points to 24,801.

Rupee Update-

Rupee opened at 86.18/$ Vs June 13 close of 86.08/$.
