Market Report- Sensex up 300 points, Nifty above 25,100

The benchmark indices were trading higher on June 09, following positive Asian markets. Majority of the index heavweights were trading in green which also helped the market to trade higher. At 9.19 am, Sensex rose by 0.39% or 327 points to 82,517. The Nifty gained 0.44% or 108 points to 25,106.

Nifty Bank hits 57,000 for the first time ever.

Rupee News-

Rupee opened at 85.64/$ Vs June 06 close of 85.63/$.

Global Cues-

Asian markets climbed as investors awaited trade talks between Washington and Beijing later in the day, and digested China inflation data.
