The Sensex and Nifty were off to a strong start on May 29, snapping a two-day losing streak, lifted by a US trade court's decision to block President Donald Trump tariff impositions. Although the US administration has appealed the ruling, the case could head to the US Supreme Court, where a critical legal battle could ensue.
At about 10:30 am, the Sensex was up 51 points at 81,363.67, and the Nifty was flat at 24,751.
