The benchmark indices were trading in the green, with benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty showing positive momentum during the session. The gains in the markets were supported by buying interest in key sectors such as banking, IT, and FMCG and stable global cues. At 1.09 pm, Sensex rose by 0.17% or 145 points to 77,307. The Nifty gained 0.205 or 41 points to 24,126.
