Midday Report- Markets end in red. Sensex down 240 points

The benchmark indices were trading lower in the afternoon on December 17, 2025, as selling was seen among index heavyweights. At 12.59 pm, Sensex slipped 0.28% or 241 points to 84,437. The Nifty dipped 0.30% or 75 points to 25,783.
