Midday Report- Markets stay upbeat amid easing global concern

Indian markets extended their gains for a fourth straight session on June 17, 2026, led by a sharp fall in crude oil prices and improving foreign investor sentiment. At 12.52 pm, Sensex rose by 0.23% or 207 points to 77,017. The Nifty gained 0.28% or 52 points to 24,042.
