The benchmark indices recovered from day's low but were trading in red on June 02, 2025, amid concerns over US President Donald Trump's fresh tariffs on steel imports. Among sectors, FMCG, realty and PSU Bank up 0.6-2%, while auto, IT, metal, oil & gas, pharma indices down 0.3-1%. At 12.41 pm, Sensex fell by 0.11% or 89 points to 81,359. The Nifty down by 0.13% or 32 points to 24,720.
