Midday Report- Markets trade lower. Sensex down 200 points

The benchmark indices were trading lower on July 02, 2025, as all eyes are now on the India-US trade deal. Among sectors, metal index was up 1.5%, while PSU bank, capital goods, realty index down 0.5-1%. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices were trading flat. At 1.06 pm, Sensex fell by 0.24% or 203 points to 83,499. The Nifty dipped by 0.23% or 58 points to 25,484.
