Midday Report- Sensex jumps 500 points in year-end rally

On December 31, 2025, the final trading session of the year, the Indian stock market is seeing a strong rally, particularly in the metal and defense sectors. Metal stocks shine as Govt imposes 3-year duty on steel imports. At 12.41 pm, Sensex rose 0.60% or 502 points to 85,178. The Nifty gained 0.68% or 178 points to 26,117.
