The benchmark indices were trading higher on June 16, 2027, driven by easing geopolitical tensions (US–Iran peace optimism), lower crude oil prices, strong global cues. Buying in heavyweight stocks like Reliance and banking names also supported Indices. At 12.48 pm, Sensex rose by 0.32% or 353 points to 76,626. The Nifty gained 0.46% or 76 points to 23,930.
