Post Market Update- Indian markets close higher amid volatility

2. Man Industries bagged orders worth Rs. 600 cr from domestic & international customers for supply of pipes.

Indian indices-

Indian equity indices ended higher on September 10, 2026, in a volatile trading session. The buying interest in financials, auto, and select capital goods stocks helped benchmark indices recover from intraday. Index heavyweights such as Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, and Larsen & Toubro provided significant support to the market. At close, the Sensex was up 138.36 points or 0.19% at 74,902.59, and the Nifty was up 46.30 points or 0.20% at 23,477.80.

Rupee closed at 95.44/$ Vs. Wednesday’s close of 95.11/$.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. IRB Infrastructure Developers rose 4.46% to Rs. 19.92, after the company reported a 25% year-on-year increase in gross toll revenue to Rs 807.40 crore in August 2026.

2. Parag Milk Foods rallied 4.89% to Rs. 265.85, after the company announced the launch of Avvatar Popped Chips, marking its entry into the protein snacking segment and expanding its nutrition-focused portfolio.

3. Shakti Pumps (India) surged 7.48% to Rs. 503.20, after the company received an order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) to deploy off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems (SPWPS) across Maharashtra.

4. Man Industries jumped 10.64% to Rs. 878.05, as order book swells to Rs. 4,100 crore.

Global Signals-

Global equities traded cautiously as the US-Iran conflict kept Brent crude above $100 a barrel, pressuring Asian and US stocks while European markets remained mixed.
