Stocks in the news-

1. Adani Green Energy Q4 net profit rose 72.6% YoY at Rs. 397 Cr Vs. Rs. 230 Cr.

2. Hindustan Zinc Q4 net profit up 67.6% YoY at Rs. 5,033 Cr.

Indian indices-

The Indian benchmark indices suffered their third consecutive session of losses on April 24, 2026, as a brutal sell-off in the IT sector, coupled with a spike in Brent Crude to $106 per barrel due to escalating West Asia tensions. All the sectoral indices ended in the red with IT index sheds 5%. At close, the Sensex was down 982.71 points or 1.27% at 76,681.29, and the Nifty was down 275.10 points or 1.14% at 23,897.95.

Rupee ended at 94.25/$ against Thursday's close of 94.11/$.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Atul Auto Ltd rose 3.93% to Rs. 494.05, after company signed MoU for supply of 15,000 e3Ws for Rs. 490.5 cr.

2. UTI Asset Management Company Ltd fell 7.91% to Rs. 954, after Q4 net profit drops 73% to Rs. 33.7 cr Vs. Rs. 124 cr (YoY).
