Indian indices-

Indian equity indices closed with substantial gains on April 15, 2026, as the market staged a smart recovery amid hopes of renewed US-Iran talks. All the sectoral indices ended in the green. At close, the Sensex was up 1,263.67 points or 1.64% at 78,111.24, and the Nifty was up 388.65 points or 1.63% at 24,231.30.

Rupee ended at 93.37/$ against April 13, close of 93.38/$.

1. Ujjivan Small Finance Bank shares fell 3% to Rs. 58.53, after RBI rejects Universal Bank application.

2. Diamond Power Infrastructure gained 2.76% to Rs. 141.70, after securing Rs. 45 crore order from Adani Electricity Mumbai.

3. SRM Contractors advanced 3.04% to Rs. 516.35, after it has secured two infrastructure contracts worth a total of Rs 168 crore from domestic authorities.
