Indian indices-

Indian equities ended lower on July 11, 2025, led by selling in IT stocks weighed down by Tata Consultancy Services weaker-than-expected Q1 earnings. The uncertainty over the India-US trade deal also weighed on investor sentiment. Except FMCG, pharma all other sectoral indices ended in the red. BSE Midcap fell by 0.65% and smallcap indices shed 0.70%. The Sensex was down 689.81 points or 0.83% at 82,500.47. The Nifty was down 205.40 points or 0.81% at 25,149.85.

Rupee ended at 85.80/$ against July 10 close of 85.63/$.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd surged 14.51% to Rs. 2,181.55, on the deal for an under-development cancer drug, ISB 2001.

2. Hindustan Unilever Ltd rose 4.61% to Rs. 2,520.10, after management change, Priya Nair replaces Rohit Jawa as CEO.

3. R P P Infra Projects Ltd gain 1.85% to Rs. 140.15, on bagging orders worth Rs. 366 cr under Jal Jeevan Mission.
