1. Vardhman Textiles Q1 net profit down 13% YoY at Rs. 207 Cr.

2. Colgate Palmolive (India) Q1 net profit fell 11.8% YoY at Rs. 321 Cr.

3. Kajaria Ceramics Q1 net profit rose 21% YoY at Rs. 109 Cr.

Indian indices-

Overall, it was a range-bound trade. The Indian markets struggled for direction since the start of trade, moved between gains and losses. The markets ended the session on a flat note amid volatility on July 22, 2025. Most key sectors ended in the red, with pharma, realty, and auto emerging as the top losers. BSE Midcap index shed 0.62% and smallcap index down 0.17%. At close, the Sensex was down 13.53 points or 0.02% at 82,186.81, and the Nifty was down 29.80 points or 0.12% at 25,060.90.

Rupee ended at 86.37/$ against July 21 close of 86.29/$.

1. Afcons Infrastructure Ltd up 2.11% to Rs. 427.60, on major order won for railway line project in Croatia.

2. Info Edge (India) Ltd rose 4.10% to Rs. 1,460.15, as company holds more than 13% stake in Eternal (Zomato).

3. Shyam Metalics and Energy advanced 1.57% to Rs. 935.55, after the company reported 5.79% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 292.15 crore in Q1 FY26.

Global Signals-

Asia-Pacific markets close mixed after Wall Street benchmarks hit record highs.

European markets were lower. DAX down 1.03%, CAC 40 0.80% and FTSE down 0.04%.
