Post Market Update- Sensex down 288 points, Nifty below 25,500

Indian indices-

The benchmark indices witnessed profit booking at higher levels on July 02, 2025, particularly in banking, financials, and realty sectors. Among sectors, metal index up 1.3%, Consumer Durables rose 1%, while PSU bank, capital goods, realty, media, oil & gas down 0.5-1%. The BSE midcap index was down 0.2% and smallcap index shed 0.3%. The Sensex was down 287.60 points or 0.34% at 83,409.69. The Nifty was down 88.40 points or 0.35% at 25,453.40.

Rupee ended at 85.70/$ against July 01 close of 85.52/$.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Keystone Realtors rose 2.89% to Rs. 644, after it secured a cluster redevelopment project in Andheri West with a GDV of Rs. 3,000 crores.

2. Asian Paints gained 2.15% to Rs. 2,419.85 from lows, despite on CCI orders of investigation after Birla Opus alleges abuse of dominant position.

3. Gabriel India surged 15.29% to Rs. 971.80 for a second straight day on the company's restructuring news.

4. Dreamfolks Services plunged 10.62% to Rs. 235.30, after company said, Airport Operators putting Pressure on clients.

Global Signals-

Asian markets were mixed as investors assess Fed's latest comments.

European markets were higher. CAC 40 up 1.13%, DAX up 0.28%, FTSE 100 up 0.20%.
