1. SPML Infra bagged order worth Rs. 1,128 cr for 1 GWh Battery Energy Storage Project from NTPC.

2. BL Kashyap secured order worth Rs. 180 cr for civil & structural works for a commercial building in Bengaluru.

Earnings-

1. KPI Green Energy Q4 net profit up 49.2% YoY at Rs. 155.5 Cr.

2. Polycab Q4 net Profit up 6.3% YoY at Rs. 772.7 Cr.

1. HSBC India/S&P Global April Services PMI came in at 58.8 Vs 57.5 in March.

Indian indices-

The Sensex ended higher on May 06, 2027. This rally was largely triggered by reports that the US and Iran are nearing a framework agreement to end their conflict, leading to a dramatic drop in crude oil prices. Except power, FMCG and energy, all sectoral indices ended in the green. At close, the Sensex was up 940.73 points or 1.22% at 77,958.52, and the Nifty was up 298.15 points or 1.24% at 24,330.95

Rupee ended at 94.61/$ against May 05, 2026 close of 95.28/$.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Coforge jumped 9.62% to Rs. 1280.72, after record margin performance, strong guidance.

2. Caplin Point Laboratories surged 5.74% to Rs. 1,842, as arm gets USFDA nod for Calcium Gluconate Injection ANDA.

3. SRF rose 7.59% to Rs. 2,719.40, after the company reported a 10.6% surge in consolidated net profit to Rs. 582.02 crore in Q4 FY26, compared with Rs 526.06 crore in Q4 FY25.

4. Zydus Lifesciences gained 3.09% to Rs. 940, after the company said the US Food and Drug Administration completed a GMP surveillance inspection at its biologics injectable manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad.

Asia-Pacific markets saw a broad rally, tracking Wall Street gains overnight after oil prices dropped and strong earnings lifted investor sentiment.

European stocks soared as traders responded to reports that the US and Iran are close to an agreement that will bring an end to the war.
