SBI to raise Rs 20,000 crore via bonds

State Bank of India announced that the Central Board of the Bank in its meeting held on July 16, 2025, accorded approval for raising funds in INR by issue
of Basel III compliant Additional Tier 1 and Tier 2 Bonds, up to an amount of Rs. 20,000 Crores to domestic investors during FY26, subject to GOI approval wherever required.

At 2.53 am, State Bank of India was trading at Rs. 831.75, up by 1.84%, with a volume of 11.54 lakh shares on the BSE.
