Indian equities were trading lower on September 24, 2026, led by sharp rise in global bond yields which dampened investor sentiment and selling across equities. Selling in IT, financial along with weak global market trends, also weighed on investor sentiment. At 12.56 pm, Sensex slipped by 1.18% to Rs. 850 points to 73,974. The Nifty dipped 1.14% or 277 points to 23,170.
