Market Report- IT stocks strengthen Indian market rally

The benchmark indices were trading higher on July 16, 2026, driven by strength in IT stocks and encouraging global cues following softer US inflation data, although elevated crude oil prices and geopolitical tensions continued to keep investors cautious. At 9.26 am, Sensex rose by 0.24% or 214 points to 77,411. The Nifty gained 0.30% or 62 points to 24,140.
