Market Report- Markets gain. Sensex up 240 points, Nifty above 24,700

The benchmark indices were trading in green on June 06, 2025, followed by r Reddy's Labs, Eternal, Shriram Finance, Power Grid Corp, Cipla. The markets will be keenly watching the RBI policy closely, with rate-sensitive stocks in focus, as the central bank is expected to cut the key lending rate by 25 basis points on June 05, 2025, as per report. At 9.26 am, Sensex rose by 0.30% or 241 points to 81,247. The Nifty gained 0.32% or 77 points to 24,702.
