The benchmark indices were trading in the green, supported by strength in heavyweight stocks and improved investor sentiment after crude oil prices eased from recent highs. Buying in banking, financial, and select energy stocks, helped lift the market. At 9.31 am, Sensex rose by 0.06% or 85 points to 73,331. The Nifty gained 0.13% or 25 points to 22,726.
Rupee opened at 95.17/$ Vs. Wednesday’s close of 95.22/$.
