Market Report- Sensex, Nifty up by 1%. All sectors in green

The benchmark indices opened on an upbeat note on June 24, 2025, led by easing geopolitical tensions after Iran and Israel agreed to a complete ceasefire. The United States President Donald Trump announced that Iran and Israel have agreed to a ceasefire. Among 30 index heavyweights only BEL and NTPC were in red. All the sectors in green. At 9.23 am, Sensex surged by 1.09% or 902 points to 82,801. The Nifty gained 1.05% or 257 points to 25,228.

West Texas Intermediate crude tumbled as much as 6% after Trump made the surprise comment on his Truth Social platform.

Rupee Check-

Rupee opened at 86.11/$ Vs. June 23, close of 86.75/$. Strengthens 64 Paise against US Dollar.
