Market Report- Sensex gains 150 points, Nifty above 25,050

The benchmark indices were trading with gains on September 12, 2025, led by strong rally in IT shares and also followed by global markets. At 9.38 am, Sensex rose by 0.19% or 153 points to 81,693. The Nifty gained 0.21% or 52 points to 25,056.

Stock in news:

1. Infosys shares gained after IT giant announces its largest buyback of Rs. 18,000 crores.

2. JBM Auto shares jumped after unit bags $100 million IFC investment for e-buses.

Rupee Check-

Rupee opened at 88.39/$ Vs. September 11 close of 88.44/$.
