The benchmark indices were trading lower on July 10, 2025, ahead of the Q1 earnings season, set to begin today. Investors await clarity on US President Donald Trump's tariff policies. Among sectors, pharma, IT, PSU Bank, auto, FMCG down 0.5% each. BSE Midcap index trades lower and smallcap index were trading flat. At 1.03 pm, Sensex slipped by 0.30% or 253 points to 83,284. The Nifty dipped by 0.31% or 85 points to 25,390.
