Midday Report- Markets in red. Nifty below 25,200

The benchmark indices were trading lower on July 17, 2025, as selling pressure was seen among majority of the index heavyweights. Among sectors, IT, Teck, Bankex, Financial Services, Oil & Gas were trading in red others were in green. BSE Midcap index up 0.16%, while smallcap index up 0.39%. At 12.52 pm, Sensex slipped by 0.17% or 143 points to 82,492. The Nifty dipped by 0.12% or 32 points to 25,176.
