The benchmark indices were trading higher on July 23, 2025, tracking firmness in global markets after the US and Japan announced a trade agreement. Majority of the sectors were trading in green barring Realty, FMCG, Capital Goods. At 1.12 pm, Sensex rose 0.44% or 360 points to 82,547. The Nifty gained 0.40% or 99 points to 25,160.
