1. Hindustan Unilever Q2 net profit rose by 3% YoY to Rs. 2,690 crore

Indian indices-

After hitting fresh record highs, Indian stock markets pared their gains on October 23, 2025, as investors booked profits. BSE Midcap index down 0.15%, while smallcap index shed 0.42%. At close, the Sensex was up 130.05 points or 0.15% at 84,556.40, and the Nifty was up 22.80 points or 0.09% at 25,891.40.

Rupee ended at 87.84/$ against October 20 close of 87.93/$.

1. Bharat Forge rose 4.58% to Rs. 1,300.55, on a report of Army order win.

2. Infosys gained 3.86% to Rs. 1,528.85, after promoters opt out of Rs. 18,000 cr share buyback.

Global Signals-

Asia-Pacific markets mostly fell, tracking Wall Street’s declines on concerns about U.S.-China trade relations.

European stocks had a positive start as investors prepared for earnings reports that could provide clues on business activity and confidence in the region.
