Post Market Update- Markets end flat amid volatility

Indian indices-

The Indian markets ended flat on September 05, 2025, amid a volatile trading session. On the sectoral front, realty, FMCG, IT indices were down 1% each, while auto index up 1.3% and media, metal up 0.5% each. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices ended flat. At close, the Sensex was down 7.25 points or 0.01% at 80,710.76. The Nifty was up 6.70 points or 0.03% at 24,741.00.

Indian rupee ended 11 paise lower at 88.26 per dollar Vs. September 04 close of 88.15.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Ola Electric Mobility Ltd declined 7.25% to Rs. 59.91, after SoftBank sells 2% stake in EV scooter-maker.

2. PNC Infratech Ltd rose 2.35% to Rs. 312.05, after emerging as lowest bidder for Rs. 496-cr bridge project in Bihar.

Global Signals-

Asia-Pacific markets were mostly higher after Trump formalizes lower Japanese auto tariffs.

European markets were also higher ahead of US jobs data.
