Post Market Update- Markets end lower. IT stocks drag.

Indian indices-

The benchmark indices failed to hold opening gains and ended lower on July 10, for a second consecutive session. The losses in IT stocks as caution ahead of the Q1 earnings season weighed on investor sentiment. Investors await clarity on US President Donald Trump's tariff policies. Except metal, realty, all other indices ended lower. The Sensex was down 345.80 points or 0.41% at 83,190.28. The Nifty was down 120.85 points or 0.47% at 25,355.25.

Rupee ended at 85.63/$ against July 09, close of 85.67/$.

1. Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA) rose 2.26% to Rs. 169.65, on getting government nod to raise funds via capital gains bonds.

2. Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd up 1.66% to Rs. 245, after JV won Rs. 395 crores project in Maharashtra.

3. PC Jeweller gained 1.68% to Rs. 18.74, ahead of board meeting on fundraising plan.

4. Life Insurance Corporation of India slipped by 2.01% to Rs. 926.85, on weak insurance data & reports of government looking to stake via OFS.

Global Signals-

Asia-Pacific markets trade mixed as investors assess Bank of Korea rate decision, fresh Trump tariffs.

European stocks remain in positive territory. FTSE 100 up 1.13%, CAC 40 up 0.55% and DAX up 0.02%.
