1. Hind Rectifiers Q1 net profit up 81.4% at Rs. 12.7 cr.

2. Asian Paints Q1 net profit slipped 5.88% YoY to Rs. 1,117 cr.

Indian indices-

Indian stock markets rebounded strongly on July 29, 2025, after snapping a three-session losing streak led by amid broad-based value buying. All the sectoral indices ended in the green. The BSE midcap index rose 0.8% and smallcap index added 1%. At close, the Sensex was up 446.93 points or 0.55% at 81,337.95. The Nifty was up 140.20 points or 0.57% at 24,821.10.

Rupee ended at 86.82/$ against July 28 close of 86.67/$.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Punjab Chemicals & Crop Protection jumped 11.76% to Rs. 1,516, after the company's consolidated net profit jumped 53.5% to Rs. 20.63 crore in Q1 FY26.

2. Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders fell 2.51% to Rs. 2,719.75, after the company's consolidated net profit declined 35% to Rs. 452.15 crore in Q1 FY26.

3. Paradeep Phosphates surged 8.56% to Rs. 216.25 after the company's consolidated net profit stood at Rs. 255.85 crore in Q1 FY26.

4. Jio Financial Services rose 4.48% to Rs. 321, ahead of board meeting on fund raising.

Global Signals-

Asia-Pacific markets mixed as traders await outcome of US-China trade talks.

European markets were higher. CAC 40 gained 1.42%, DAX up 1.31% and FTSE 100 up 0.63%.
