Post Market Update- Sensex down 571 points, Nifty below 22,450

Indian indices-

Indian stock markets recovered from the day's low but remained in negative territory on October 1, 2026, weighed down by persistent foreign fund outflows and a rebound in crude oil prices that dampened investor sentiment. Most of the sectoral indices in the red. The Sensex was down 570.59 points or 0.79% at 71,909.70, and the Nifty was down 198.50 points or 0.88% at 22,421.95.

Rupee closed at 96.32/$ Vs September 30 close of 95.83/$.

2. Escorts Kubota fell 1.53% to Rs. 2,675, after tractor sales down nearly 17% YoY in Sept'26.
