Market Report- Markets in green. Nifty above 25,140

The benchmark indices were trading higher on July 15, as buying was seen among majority of the index heavyweights barring HCL Tech, Eternal, Ultratech Cement, ICICI Bank. At 9.27 am, Sensex rose by 0.19% or 149 points to 82,404. The Nifty gained 0.22% or 56 points to 25,141.

Results:

In some major results today, HDB Financial will be reporting its first result as a public company, along with stocks like HDFC Life, ICICI Prudential, ICICI Lombard, Bank of Maharashtra, General Insurance Corp and others.

Rupee Check-

Rupee opened at 85.97/$ Vs July 14 close of 85.99/$.

Global News-

Asian markets largely higher in early trade on China's higher-than-est Q2 GDP data.

China's April-June GDP growth 5.2% higher than estimates of 5.1%.

European Markets close largely lower on July 14 while UK's FTSE hits record high.
