Market Report- Markets trade higher. Sensex up 200 points

The benchmark indices were trading higher on August 13, 2025, led by global markets. The buying in index heavyweights also supported the markets to trade higher. All the sectors were trading in green. At 9.25 am, Sensex rose by 0.28% or 226 points to 80,458. The Nifty gained 0.32% or 77 points to 24,562.

Rupee opened at 87.65/$ Vs August 12 close of 87.71/$.

Asian markets higher in early trade, All major indices up 1% each.

US markets end higher, All major indices up more than 1% each.

European markets closed higher, CAC up 1%.
