Market Report- Markets trade lower on doubling India tariff

The benchmark inices were trading lower on August 07, as Trump threatens to impose 'secondary sanction' after slapping additional 25% tariff on India. Majority of the index heavyweights were trading in red. At 9.26 am, Sensex slipped 0.25% or 217 points to 80,320. The Nifty fell by 0.25% or 57 points to 24,517.
