Market Report- Sensex down 190 points, Nifty below 24,900

The benchmark indices were trading lower on June 17, as escalating tensions between Iran and Israel weigh on sentiment. Majority of the index heavyweight were also trading in red. At 9.26 am, Sensex slipped by 0.23% or 193 points to 81,603. The Nifty dipped by 0.29% or 70 points to 24,879.

Rupee Update-

Rupee opened at 86.01/$ Vs. June 16 close of 86.07/$.

Global News-

Asia-Pacific markets rose as investors assess Israel-Iran conflict, BOJ rate decision on tap.

US Market closed higher, S&P 500 & Nasdaq up more than 1%.

European markets rebounded to end higher. DAX up nearly 1%.
