Market Update- Sensex down 300 points, Nifty below 24,850

The benchmark indices were trading lower on June 17, 2025, led by the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. Majority of the sectors were under pressure. The BSE Midcap slipped by 0.50% and BSE Smallcap dipped by 0.58%. At 1 pm, Sensex fell by 0.41% or 333 points to 81,466. The Nifty down by 0.49% or 122 points to 24,825.
