Midday Report- Sensex down 200 points, Nifty below 25,950

The benchmark indices continued with their downtrend on November 18, 2025, followed by weak global markets. All the sectoral indices were trading in the red. BSE midcap and smallcap indices down 0.6% each. At 12.51 pm, Sensex fell by 0.24% or 206 points to 84,744. The Nifty dipped by 0.30% or 76 points to 25,937.

The Indian markets had recently concluded a six-day winning streak, which naturally led to profit-taking by investors at higher levels, pushing the indices lower.
