Post Market Update- Sensex down 278 points, Nifty at 25,900

Indian indices-

Indian equity markets closed in the red on November 18, 2025, as traders widely took to profit-booking, after a six-day streak of gains. Investors remained cautious, ahead of the release of key delayed US economic data (such as NFP jobs data). Broad-based selling pressure was evident across the board, with all sectoral indices ending on a negative note. At close, the Sensex was down 277.93 points or 0.33% at 84,673.02, and the Nifty was down 103.40 points or 0.40% at 25,910.05.

Rupee ends at 88.61/$ against Monday's close of 88.63/$

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Mphasis shares fell 1.10% to Rs. 2,659.70, as promoted offloads more than 9% Equity via block deals as per report.

3. The Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation surged by 9.83% to Rs. 2,022.90, after company terminates its agreement with MSTC.

Global Signals-

Asia-Pacific markets fell, led by declines in Japan and South Korean benchmark indexes, following a tech-led slide on Wall Street.
