Indian Indices-

The benchmark indices erased sharp intraday losses and made a smart recovery in the last hour of trade, to eke out with small gains on August 07, 2025, led by IT and Pharma stocks. Most of the sectoral indices recovered most of the intraday losses. BSE Midcap index up 0.30% and smallcap index ended on flat note. At close, the Sensex was up 79.27 points or 0.10% at 80,623.26, and the Nifty was up 21.95 points or 0.09% at 24,596.15.

Rupee ended at 87.70/$ against August 06 close of 87.73/$.

1. Carborundum Universal fell 3.52% to Rs. 854.60, after the company’s consolidated net profit declined 45.21% to Rs. 61.89 crore in Q1 FY26.

2. RateGain Travel Technologies advanced 3.04% to Rs. 440.75, after the company’s consolidated net profit jumped 3% to Rs. 46.93 crore in Q1 FY26.

3. Fortis Healthcare rose 2.83% to Rs. 882, after the company reported a 56.83% surge in consolidated net profit to Rs. 260.28 crore in Q1 FY26.

Global Signals-

Asia-Pacific markets closed mostly higher as investors weigh Trump's vow on fresh chip tariffs.

European markets were mostly higher. FTSE 100 down 0.47%, CAC 40 up 1.19% and DAX rose 1.52%.
